To keep your towels soft and plush, we recommend washing them on a gentle cycle and then tumble-drying on low. Treat stains with diluted chlorine-free bleach OR hydrogen peroxide thirty minutes before washing. Do not use chlorine bleach. Always spot test stains before applying more product.

So...what do "700 GSM GOTS-Certified Organic Cotton" and "FSC-Certified Packaging" even mean?

700 GSM = Grams Per Square Meter
The GSM measures the density of the towel. Higher GSMs mean heavier, thicker, and more absorbent. 700 falls on the high end of the spectrum, meaning that these towels are extremely plush and absorbent. Think luxury spa towels versus lightweight beach towels. A high GSM doesn't automatically make a towel better or worse, but generally the higher the GSM the quicker you can dry off and the more luxurious the feel is. The downside to heavy towels is that they take longer to dry, so make sure to hang them up after use so they stay fresh!

We see this word a lot, so let's break down what it means for textiles in simple terms. At minimum, certified organic fabrics must be made from fibers grown sustainably without GMOs or toxic pesticides or GMOs while following strict environmental and labor rules during production.
