About the Patina-Rusted Steel Frame

The patina finish was created with an organic water-based solution that oxidizes steel naturally.  The patina is applied after the table has been made and does not affect the strength of the material, but does make for a more attractive and long-lasting finish especially for outdoor use.  The steel legs and frame are fixed in place.

Note: after the patina is created, frame is finished with a polyurethane clear coat, which is made from plastic. However, because Lee Display uses a water-based formula, the curing process and off-gassing period are completed by the time of delivery. Water-based polyurethane has a shorter cure time, less off-gassing, and fewer VOCs than oil-based formulas. No such finish is applied to the tabletop.

About the Unfinished Natural Redwood Countertop

The countertop is handmade from raw reclaimed redwood. It has not been finished, which means it has not been stained or sanded. Each table is unique visually due to the beautiful natural grain and pattern of each individual piece of wood. Redwood is naturally resistant to decay, but you may choose to add an additional finish or stain to preserve or change the color.

• Ships fully assembled via freight
• There must be someone present at the shipping address for delivery.
• Phone Number and email are information required for Freight Delivery, as the freight delivery driver will call/email to schedule the delivery once the shipment has arrived at the local destination terminal.
• This is a heavy, unwieldy item. We recommend having at least two able-bodied people present to assist with with unpacking and moving the table when it arrives.
• Delivery Time is location-dependent, but most orders are delivered within 5-8 days of shipping out.
